Among other things, it adds polymorph immunity to the pool of perks that can show up. You can configure it so that only polymorph immunity is added.
Real immunity would be in keeping with the other immunities.
How 'bout eating the flesh of certain enemies and gaining roughly 3 mins worth of immunity per corpse?
But to be more serious. Polymorpine is only thing you'll be vulnerable during (most) god runs. Without the immunity you need to pay at least some attention to game after you have visited few PW.
There's really two ways of getting poly immunity.
First is to get the iron stomach perk and drink a bunch of poly/unstable poly/ chaotic poly, which will give you temporary immunity to whichever liquid you drink, but you may already know about this one.
Second, and less known about, is to trap a poly mage close to a necrobot and repeatedly kill the poly mage, eating the corpse with iron stomach between respawns. With this you can give yourself as many seconds of poly immunity buff as long as you could ever need.
But it's pretty difficult to do that, and I'd only ever bother with it if I was doing an extremely long run, like doing the sun quest. My mod is balanced around a normal run where the goal is to kill the main boss and end the game, not so much the side content. You do you though.
524,288 seconds. Not 2.1 million, which is listed in various places incorrectly.
People gatekeeping fun in a single player game are cringe af.
Poly is a dumb mechanic, and let's not pretend this game has any real balance, because it doesn't.
Game is go as slowly as possible until you find a lumi drill > mow down everything
