Not quite.

And there's "infinite" Holy Mountains (in Parallel Worlds).
While not guaranteed, it's fairly easy to find at least one of the various means of healing; the easiest and most common probably being Pheremone potion (stain a Hiisi Healer with it).
If you're having trouble finding stuff for a good healing wand / digging wand / damage wand down the Main Path, then take a trip to the Overgrown Cavern (aka "Wand Mart"): https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/Overgrown_Cavern
I just felt having played for 8 hours I should've been close to beating this game or at least "invincible" but things keep going on and on it's nuts. I'm tempted to look up how when/where the "end" is but part of me has resisted because I'm enjoying the mystery of it all, exploring things completely blind
8 hours is absolutely nothing in this game.
Going blind is fun, but unless you want to miss out on a mountain of content, you'll need to start looking things up eventually (maybe after 50~150 hours). There's a lot in this game that you will NEVER figure out by yourself (not without an unreasonable amount of luck and/or time, anyway). Getting down to the bottom of the Main Path and killing the main boss is but a small fraction of the game.
(And thanks for the Steam points, whoever.)
Oh I'm at 70 hours playtime. 8 hours was my one session/world, which made me wonder was overkill or not and if one should've surely killed the main boss by then.
Do you recommend a strategy of what to look up and when? As of now I only look up more details on items once I find them, use them, and still can't figure out what they'd do (like Berserkium potion). I also intend to dig/explore the entiiiiiire world (if that's ever possible) and after that I figure I should be cool to look up anything
There is some content that is incomplete, hidden or intentionally cut that people havent even figured out.
Main thing is if something feels petty and repetitive it is. I only go out of my way to do things petty and slow if i already have loot thats really good. Im not gonna spend time every start increasing my max HP by like 10 in same petty repetitive predictable way.
On hours thing i have 1.8k and havent done everything.
I suggest going as far as you can without tons of outside help then just go all in on wand and spell videos once you are having trouble learning anything. After that find what you can then maybe content spoilers if you want to.
Then on rushing its neither good nor bad. I have had very bad and good experiences with both. I would say its up to your mood and personality. I think maybe best thing is rushing grabbing a bare minimal of loot then when you get something really good then switch to exact opposite style being real careful. I never consciously planned out doing it that way but its what I end up doing.
You cant dig out entire world it has minecraft thing going on. I suggest finding boundary of starting world and exploring edges and in betweens then using a generated map image of noita's map. (they are on eazyzoom)
Just dont spoil yourself too much like no normal person will figure out stuff this community did but you should try to get the vibe i think. It has some ARG style stuff ingame.
I've played over 500 hours spoiler free EXCEPT for looking up the mechanics of how spells work after I discover the spell on my own, and looking at wand building mechanics.
I haven't discovered even CLOSE to all this game has to offer.
Stay spoiler free, it's SO DAMN REWARDING (if you want to, it's your game lol)
Uh-huh, missing out on heaps of content because of some sort of stupid stubborn pride in not wanting any help is SUPER rewarding. /s
After a few hundred hours, start peeking at the wiki. This game was not designed to be figured out by yourself. But waste your time and miss half the game, if you insist.
Why so hostile? "stubborn pride" is ad hominem.
[sorry for contributing to thread derailing]
What value do I gain by reading up on all the content, burning through all of it in one god run, and never touching the game again because there's nothing left to do?
I could just watch a playthrough on YouTube and then I wouldn't even have to play, that would save WAY more time. Why even play the game? lol
If the thing you enjoy is just watching the particle system spit out a bunch of pretty colors, then sure, I guess that's the more enjoyable method.
But anyway, I specifically said he should only do that *if he wanted to, it's his game*, and you still decided you needed to ♥♥♥♥ on my preference in how I enjoy my leisure time and wanted to share that opinion?
