Why can chainsaws make a bad wand into a gattling gun?
So i know that chainsaws can make your wand reload faster because of the -0.17 s recharge time, but thats not what i mean.

What im talking about is this combination:

Chainsaw+Chainsaw+Tripple Spell+(w/e modifiers you want)+Spark Bolt+Spark Bolt

you can even 1up it by doing this:

Chainsaw+Chainsaw+Quadruple Spell+(w/e modifiers you want)+3xSpark Bolt

It does work with every projectile spell i think BUT only in that order.

Im kinda feeling bad for using this wand, when i got the message "you angered the gods" because of some spider, i thought id die but i killed the guy in about half a second soo...

Ive also tried using other spells that shorten the reload time, like the digging blast, but they won't work, so my guess is its a bug?

It works with luminous drill too.

I noticed this as well, and I got to a conclusion that it has to do something with the Triple/Quadruple spells. Somewhere on Reddit I read a somewhat long post about how the spells' order work on wands, maybe that would answer this as well.

it wont work with drill spells because they add cast delay.
The reason this is working so well is that your quad/tripple spell cast has a left over slot once it activates and hits the spark bolts, so it ignores reload and looks for the next possible spell to activate, which is chainsaw at the start of cast order, it's probably basically repeating this loop causing that higher fire rate.
So not a bug, you just found a powerfull spell combo. have some fun with it, see if you can make it go nuts :D

Yeah, it's a great combo, especially if you can find a wand with always cast something.
I really hope the devs leave it in.
In all the runs I've done, I've only ever been able to use this combo a few times, chain saws seem to be rare, but on runs where they show up, they REALLY show up.

They will. It was obvious chainsaws were completely broken and exploitable for silly reasons almost off the get go.

I think part of what is happening is that in addition to lowering the recharge time, Chainsaws also seem to have a hidden negative cast delay modifier, so putting them in a double/triplecast/etc combo lets you reduce the cast time of a slow wand (or counteract spells that increase the delay)
