a question on greek letter spells

is there any way to get a specific greek letter spell consistently or are you just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if the big alchemist guy doesnt drop it?

There's special shops in the underworld and in the sky. Around 30k gold for those spells iirc.

This is accurate.

You can also kill the Alchemist in other parallel worlds.

Yep. But it's pretty rare not to get a 'good' one. If you roll a Mu, Tau, or Omega, you can crack into late-game no problem.

fly up to 'heaven' and find many great spells. Pricey and dangerous, but worth it

I'd say the underworld is a lot safer than the cloudscape, and the spells are exactly the same.
