Problem with recoil.
So far, I have tested multiple wand setups in both normal mode and nightmare......Game has changed so much that at least 60% of the spell combos have ridiculous recoil......You really can´t survive with a combo that sends you flying backwards straight into stronger enemies. That just doesn´t make any sense to die like that when you could possibly survive with a minigun, or even with a stronger damage combo that sends you flying.....:steamfacepalm:

You get used to it

Don´t think so, when a spell combo can send you flying across the map, killing you instantly if there are stronger enemies around. Just so happened on my earlier run that I found the reduce recharge modifier, turned my wand into a minigun, the smallest burst sent me flying 4-5 meters backwards, that was enough to die to a Toimari.....Inside the Hiisi Base.

Well, if you know how the game works there are ways to reduce recoil.
Most spells add recoil to whatever the current value is, but some set it to a fixed value.
sawblade, bouncy orb, and expanding orb set recoil to 20, so cancel out other recoil before them (from spells/modifiers cast at the same time).
(arrow sets it to 30, glowing lance to 60, firebolts to 80/120/140, magic missiles set to 120/160/180, lightning 180, mine 60, cursed orb 40, firework 120)

Slow but Steady reduces recoil by 80, light shot and decelerating shot reduces it by 10, recoil damper by 200.
Recoil Damper is hard to find, Fungal Caves seems like the best place.

Splitter bolts and bubbleshot have dampening which I think reduces recoil.

Been playing for 260 hours. Haven´t found those recoil spells at all during this time......I think my game is cursed forever, I´m thinking of deleting it after 300 hours if my game seeds are still cursed. No point in playing cursed seeds if I keep dying early no matter what I do.

Just hold the direction you're firing in and it won't be so bad. Alternatively if you can't handle the recoil build less robust wands.

Slow but Steady requires unlocking math spells.
Light Shot is not that hard to find.
Bouncy Orb is often a starting spell.
A lot of those set recoil to something low spells are super common, but if you are doing a 60cast/sec 20x60 = 1200/sec = still a lot.

But like 10x Nuke = 3000 recoil.
10x Nuke + Bouncy Orb = 20 recoil.

Alternatively you can just use spells without recoil.
Spark Bolt w/Trigger -> bunch of cool stuff or whatever.
(I've beat the game with just Spark bolt w/trigger -> vertical barrier on the starting wand.)

Or have your back to something solid (or a safe part of the map) before firing your uber recoil wand.
