Do not eat Fungus!

So, basically, you can make the hell with burning ground out of your world by eating fungus. If you eat too much of it, there will be message, that your reality changed. And if the component that changed will be "Smoke", that's it, you screwed. If you don't have the fire immunity, you can end your game. Because if something starts to burn, it will make smoke, which will make fungus, which will start burning too and produce even more smoke and more burning fungus. And if it fall, it will grow right in the air, so there will be endless firefalls. The end.

Later in the run I got water -> poison... didn't work out so well.

So it can convert every component in something random? I thought in fungus only haha. You literally discover something different every time you start a new game.

I tried it, water turned to rock, including one of my flasks.
run ruined, worth it tho.

I was a Vampire and the fungus turned all blood into Sima, (and all water to whiskey and all fungus to vomit).

I spent the rest of the run as a Finnish Alcoholic, drinking away my pain and wading through puke.

I turned water into pea soup. Maybe I should get "eat your veggies" perk now if I see it.

I did it four times in my current run, and got :
worm blood to blood;
Something(not sure what but it can be in a flask) to poison;
poison and toxic sludge to silver;
diamonds to blood;
Edit : 3 more times :
Lava and copper to rock;
Something(no idea what) to blood.

Turned all blood to the sand - varpirism started to feel crunchy on the teeth.... then all swamp water turned in to pea soup... so i filed whole fungy caverns with farts

Sometimes that can be fun or even helpful... but blood to sand in new game+ with "more blood" is just a true sandbox

Yeah BUT you can also turn lava to vomit... You know how cool and helpful that is? Especially with the rat spawn..
