It is used for a secret thing below
Not true.
Hints are in the game with the musical notes written out as a tune.
Only visit the wiki when you are absolutely sure you can't figure it out
Did you figure it out using only the hints ingame?
I did have previous knowledge of how to read music.
There's several places with musical score written out in the background.
If you have experience reading music, it becomes easy to decipher what it is.
There is also literally a tablet with the song notes written out on it, no knowledge of musical score required.
To be fair, there really isn't much guidance in game as to what each of the songs will do.
Sooooo, did you figure out the secret yourself or did you learn online?
Are you asking if I learned to read music online?
It seems like you're being deliberately obtuse because you refuse to believe someone could figure out a musical puzzle based on previous musical knowledge.
I'll admit I didn't know specifically what "Kantele" meant, (I thought it was like a pan flute) but it's obvious from context clues (e.g. all the musical note spells available nearby) it was an instrument.
Many if not most of the secrets in the game are so hidden that nobody figures them out on their own, you dont believe that to be true, so im asking if you figured this one out on your own.
Yes, I read the music on the cave wall, (in chasm to the East, between Mines and Snowy Depths,) and put those notes into the wand.
All the songs are now hidden on a tablet somewhere in game, so you don't even really need to read music, or find the several hidden clues to figure it out, just find the tablet.
