Noita
The secrets/side quests are such a missed opportunity.
I really can't understand why the devs would put the biggest secrets and the most interesting side quests behind either a riddle that would require super human IQ to figure out by themselves or a wall of tedium in form of having to grind the same seed for 20 hours just to get a god-mode setup beforehand because you're going to get your cheeks clapped otherwise.
Also, since reaching late game content has such a heavy focus on rng (in terms of getting the right spells/perks/wands etc. to reach/complete them) and the fact that 1 mistake could cost you an hour-long run with having nothing to show for it in the end, really don't make these convoluted side activities logical to me.

I don't have a problem with the game being "hard" overall since that's why a bought it, I just don't get the reasoning behind gating the most interesting content, behind an insane "difficulty" spike and automatically stopping 90%+ of the player base from ever seeing them.
The fact is made worse since the devs obviously put an insane amount of work into them.

it's all love though ❤️

I like it, ya just have to get a better understanding of the game to make it all work. The more you know, the less rng will screw you over. Not many games keep me coming back after so long, so they're doing something right.

Honestly, I love starting out in Noita. I haven't really had a run yet I felt was truly unwinnable; the few deaths I've had lately were mostly just carelessness.

What I don't like is I've traipsed through 10 parallel worlds each in NG, NG+, NG++ and NG+++ (during which my game crashed about 5 times), visited the Vault and TotA Holy Mountains and the hidden Eye area on the Hiisi Base in each of them, as well as any randomly generated spell shops in the Vault and still haven't found the damn Projectile Thunder Field spell, which is literally the last thing I need to 100% the game (barring a few things I know how to get).

The secrets, I don't care too much about. Yeah, it's a bit meh most people won't ever see them, but I'm also pretty sure that, on the whole, they're not where the bulk of the dev time was spent, and they're definitely not the interesting part of the game.

i hate it but its not because its hard but because i get burnt out around the fkrst hour without doing anything and roaming around trying to find the stuff that i need

A bad secret is an open secret, good secrets are hidden well. Like you are just complaining about secrets actually being secret. What you want is easily digestible fan service, like Big Bang Theory, Sherlock Holmes. The aesthetic of being smart but for dumb people.

Ok, but craming lore and hints in random corners of the map hidden behind dense rock isn't really a good secret. In terms of gameplay.

You are just nitpicky now. Secrets got to be placed somewhere, and not every secret is at the corner of the map or behind dense rocks. The map is autogenerated so ofc secrets are going to be placed seemingly "at random", everything is placed like that. Like wtf are you even asking for?

Reasonable secrets, something that doesn't involve playing discount terraria to find. Literally combing the entire map to find an encoded message that just translates to Norwegian. Epic.
