So you can put, for example, Sparkbolt+Trigger>Healing Bolt and fire at a wall you're standing next to, and the healing bolt should fire back into you.. But be careful that the wall you're bouncing it off is flat or it may fire off in an awkward direction.
There's several other ways to make it work too.
I first time by my self found it out hard way... i was like - " if i put damage increase mods on my healing bolt, then it must heal me more!" Next thing i know - game is over cause of 7 damage+, more crit and arcing path made it a anti-healbolt :D
the boomerang perk is awful imo avoid it
I also wont skip using shields and projectile fields anymore because its not realistic to self heal. Its even worse than vampire perk.
I learned my lesson you heal by using health ups and when you run out its parallel world time. That is how you heal.
Damage field is a multiplier iirc. Some damage booster gives a flat bonus. Since healing bolts do negative damage, damage multipliers and subtractive modifiers increase healing while additive and divisive multipliers reduce it.
Edit- Checked it out, looks like I remembered incorrectly. Damage field does seem to deal flat damage. I remembered it doing double damage in a field around it.
