Noita

Why is no one talking about the Runestone of Emptiness?
I presume it might just be because people rarely encounter it, but of all the runestones I've seen, it seems to be the best. Not only does Noita throw it farther than a tablet, making trick kills easier and safer, but since it deletes spells, it shields you from many hazards. Stendari sniping anyone? As long as you throw it before he launches his fireball you're safe - with a little bit of distance. Fun trivia: This might be one of the only things that could save you from a nuke projectile. Also, if you have a good machinegun wand you can still attack within the field, you just have to get closer to enemies. Not so bad when usually their spells are slower than yours and disappear without covering distance!

Oddly enough, I found one in the starting mines, decided to make this post, then found a second one next to the lave lake after making the post.

Here is a small taste of its power:

At the very least it is a better throwing weapon than the tablets... maybe. Does anyone else find that sometimes it fails to throw for some reason, or that occasionally it doesn't collide with enemies? The latter might be due to the oblong shape and rotation causing it to "roll around" the enemy on some close misses, I'll have to keep chucking it and see.

Here you can see how it can even give your wands an advantage over enemies. There is the risk, however, created by being unable to use your slower wands within the field.

It even helps with this dude, which I half expected not to work since the tentacle is pretty fast:

Real fun on level 1 just throwing it long range and removing projectiles getting double gold.

Magma is best to me. Turns liquid on ground to lava. Great for spilled poly. At 600 hp I'm already jumping into (small) pools of lava for nuggets but I avoid poly with even 3 million hp. I am constantly throwing down magma runestone when I hear the magical liquid sound.

Okay, that's a good point, I only got that one once and haven't gotten to play around with it yet.

I usually throw it at the feet of stevari and shove my wand into their face while they desperately try to blow me up.

Exactly! And it works on so many other enemies, the worst exception I know of being snipers, though if there is enough "emptiness" between you and them, it can still save you.
