To elaborate, if you get this, 3x as much gold will drop from enemies, but a curse will chase you that changes the solids and liquids surrounding you into a cursed rock or liquid that will cause significant damage over time. Basically, unless you can rush through the game very quickly, game over.

You know, there is one Perk that this MAY work ok with if you can manage to click up all the time and NEVER touch anything. The lukki mutation with trick blood money. The cursed rock kills other things too, and it counts as a trick kill. That said, you need some healing too because you WILL eventually touch the cursed rock and take significant damage. Trick blood money would definitely help a bunch here.

I was doing a run last night with it and made it to the vault, actually it was the first time I made it to the vault. Lol

It is for 2 in-game achvs.
Take the greed crystal to sky altar, and beat the game with the mode still active.
Also I think they made it so you need greed curse to get divide by 10 unlocked now (instead of just the boss item).

i understand your frustration but first of all:
it very clearly states that a curse would be following you and curses shouldn't be good or comfortable

2nd: you can easily break the curse in the holy mountain by breaking the green crystal

3rd: i dont understand how this 1 inconvenience ruin the entirety of the game considering its a choice to pick up so idk..

Additionally, this "curse" has changed a bit. You never had a warning in the least when I posted about this, perhaps now you do.

I wasn't implying this ruins the whole game. I should have wrote it ruined that run.

In general, you wouldn't know much of anything any of you have posted without looking it up all on the wiki. It is one of this games bigger problems. You have to look up everything because not much with regards to secrets and the like are intuitive.

I haven't played the game in a while. Hopefully, some of these problems have been addressed. That said, very old post, probably not applicable anymore, please stop posting.
