Is there any point to doing alchemy?
I’ve tried mixing potions both randomly and methodically - I don’t wanna look up a wiki since it kind of defeats the whole esoteric magical ♥♥♥♥ the game puts out. It doesn’t seem like the effort to mix potions is worth it for what I can only imagine are limited buffs similar to base ones.

You don't always find all the flasks you want. Knowing some of the new fixed recipes can let you brew your way into having some pheromone when you need it, etc.

sadly, it much more simple to visit "other" worlds for healing, then trying to brew healing potion.

I didn’t even know there was such a thing lol. But I figured as much.

alchemy recipes are randomly generated each run so you have to be really lucky to brew anything useful... or anything at all

Only a few selected liquid have random recipe (mass destruction, healing for example are both random)
The basic other liquid aren't random. (teleportum, concentrated mana ...)

There are several things that are easy to mix, but it is easier to just find the potions in levels.
There are very few seeds where making the random ones is feasible.

Dumping water in toxic sludge and lava to get rid of it is about as far as alchemy goes in most playthroughs.
Thanks then. I guess I could just have fun spewing random vile concoctions everywhere, thats fun too.
