Chainsaw -> Double Cast -> Spark Bolt, or any similar projectile spell.
The magic behind it is that, after activating Chainsaw, it "wraps" by casting two spells at the same time, those being Chainsaw and Spark Bolt, and Chainsaw increases the rate of fire of wands.
Another simple one is:
Spark Bolt with trigger -> Dropper Bolt / Magic Missile / Triplicate Bolt basically, anything that travels too slow or is too dangerous to use in immediate range.
You can also do:
Spark Bolt with trigger -> Heavy Shot -> any of the above. Heavy Shot makes spells very powerful, though incredibly short-ranged, so a trigger spell brings the hurt a lot closer.
Concentrated Spell -> Triplicate Bolt. Condenses all three shots into one, a modifier could help with this.
I'm no expert -- but there are quite a few videos on Wand-building.
Have a good day, happy Noiting.
I have 1k hours in the game and it still feels like I can make overpowered spells, but i'm not a master of damage, just a jack of all trades. I was probably the first person to use the dormant crystal with trigger and teleport bolt to teleport back into the temple of the mountain whenever I wanted... and that's just the beginning of my shenanigans.
If you are looking for something more straightforward though, do what everybody else is mentioning with the Chainsaws and whatnot, but if you can't find any of those things you will just have to practice the most important thing: A safe improvisation.
Take Glowing Lance for example, i've used that spell with little to no modifiers all the way down to the lowest Temple of the Mountain. It's very powerful with speed/fire rate, and if you set it up right you can still hit the body swap wizards without dying. It's all about moderating the power, and only using it where you can. This knowledge only came after dying from it a dozen times because the power of the spell still made it worth using until other spells came along.
So I guess the moral of the story is to take safe risks. Don't blow yourself up, but don't be afraid of every spell in the game either.
Luminous drill (on the right wand) is arguably the only spell you really need
for something more traditional i always liked homing bubble spark on a machinegun wand, they can dig through basic materials so you create tunnels with them to enemies if you just hold down the trigger
update: After countless time of dying and even to my own wand while im experimenting those combo ... I have finally 'win' one Noita game with a teleporting cast of giant firebolt so i guess that kinda worked out lol
