[Spoilers] Can't find moon; Wands' new "secret ability"

First off, I can't find the moon. It isn't above the Sky Mines. I checked the release notes, and it says "made secret area harder to get to." I don't know if it's referring to the Moon, but if it is, this is just an extra massive hurdle of tedium. I have to check the entire sky now? What, I need to pass three copies of The Work before it shows up? I love Noita but it definitely can never be claimed that the game respects the players' time. If anyone finds where it is, let me know; I don't think I even want to bother without pulling out a cheat or something.

The patch notes also mention wands' new secret ability, just letting people know that I believe I figured it out you can create allied possessed wands by submerging them in pheromone. I killed an enemy who had a wand and it dropped it; a minute or two later something happened offscreen above me, pheromone came pouring down, the wand suddenly got up and started duking it out with a tentacle creature. Again I can't be sure this is to what the notes are referring, and I haven't done any testing with it, but I figured I'd say something.

Did you find the moon in the end? Because I sure did not yet even though I flew past several layers of "The Work" in the Sky directly above the mountain. I see Temple bricks everywhere but never saw anything looking like mines in the sky.

I'm really lost :(

I did not, I had to stop playing shortly after this report. Back when I did play, you could tell which sky levels were which based on their layout, they aren't simply cloud-themed retextures of the levels below.

If my memory serves, the moon moves (or it did) or something, and so it's possible I needed to check the same area multiple times (which again would be tedious). I have no idea what's changed since then.

The moon doesn't move, it is always in the same place.
There is a perk (moon radar) you can get in a secret location that will mark where they are.
(They as in there are 2.)

If the moon doesnt move, then why isnt it in the sky all the time. It obviously moves as I can see with my own eyes that sometimes I can look up and see it and othertimes its not there

Lol, Stop being facetious, they obviously meant the moon in game not the moon in the sky.
Dig straight down quite a ways from the diamond where earth essense is located to find moon radar in another diamond.
