I find many of the new perks and spells to be of value.
To add on to this: Sometimes it is better to not take any perks at all.
I honestly like most of the perks, but "never skip leg day" isn't that good. Even with greed, the telekinetic power perk actually allows you to control where you kick/throw an item.
Also, Faster swimming should be combined with Faster movement speed.
If three bad perks are placed you also have another option: Don't take a perk. Especially if they are bad or if it's better to buy a wand/spell than a re-roll.
Noita is all about patience, exploration, and choices.
You don't play to win Noita, you play it to experience Noita.
Also, that does not excuse bad perks from existing.
There are no bad perks.
Every perk has it's place.
When I say bad perk more correctly I should say not useful perk, as it all really depends on your run.
The kick doesn't do enough damage to be used for kicking.
The knockback against enenmies isn't useful since you do so little damage.
The kicks on items is so hectic that it doesn't work with trick greed.
I can think of no situation where this works. All the upsides basically don't even matter.
To make matters even worse: There is a direct upgrade (telekinetic something) which allows you to accurately launch objects.
