Does which portal you enter matter?

On a level, with respect to all the portals in a horizontal line, does it matter which one you enter in terms of the price and power of goods available to buy in the safe zone?

No, not that I have ever observed.

But, some of the portal areas can be flooded by various liquids, such as blood, lava, water, and toxic sludge. However, like I previously said, the portals themselves all function the exact same.

All portals lead to the same singular room in the holy mountain. The only difference is the distance at which you travel IE taking the far left portal leads you to the middle and taking the far right also leads you back to the middle, the middle portal just leads you down about one-two screens away.
