The most disturbing spell combination.
Just came across a very unsettling spell combination.
Necromancy and Blue Orb with Bounce. The blue orb tears bodies apart and the necromancy raised what was left,at one point i had some feet,a pair of hands with a wand and what i think was a spine floating along beside me.
Note they would aproach enemies but do no damage.

Sounds fun but at least it isn't some of the otherwordly ♥♥♥♥ I've seen *g*

Try some kind of trigger with the tentacle spell.
Try Tentacle with trigger combined with lightning bolt
Or the most lovecraftian so far: Death Cross with Trigger combined with Eldritch Portal.

That's some real unsettling stuff ^^

If you stack a ton of Tentacle with Timer spells onto a wand and hit something with it, everything goes mental as waaay more tentacles than what should be happening sprout from their body as a torrent of blood/oil/whatever pours from the unfortunate soul that got hit

I've been dying to find necromancy and play with the plague rats and exploding corpses perks!

Combining the electrical body perk with Circle of Water/ Sea of Water to literally become an electrical eel and electrocute everything in the level as you swim downwards, surrounded by dozens of corpses comes to mind. The water keeps most projectiles from reaching you.

Combining Personal Tentacler + Gravity Well + Personal Fireball Thrower on a projectile wand with the explosives perk and turning an enemy into a black hole that pulls in enemies and projectiles, even as dead enemies are launched outwards as lethal projectiles with fireballs that triggers explosives and eat matter to the point where you have to retreat.

The best one I've had was Magical Lance + Freezing projectile + acid trail and exploding corpses + extra knockback perk. it was a near literal recreation of the Javelin Gun From Dead Space 2. If I could have gotten electrical projectile and something that makes the projectile explode it would have been spot on. Acid trail in general will ruin any level.

Circle of Aggression on it's own is pretty fun in the Jungle and Temple, planting one on at the mouth of a room and watching these enemies turn on each other and decimate the level in the process is amusing.

My favorite one of all is combining multiple Luminous drills on a high mana wand to make a lightsaber. Not only does it over penetrate foes, but it can dismember multiple enemies rapidly, you can kill enemies through medium size walls. From below you trigger explosives in the room above and cut your way through solid matter if the wand has a large enough pool. If you can attach a frontal shield spell you can effectively walk through Hiisi Base, and just leave an ocean of blood behind you, enough to swim in.
Combine it with the projectile repulsion perk and you literally become a user of the Force who can hurl bounce off and bounce back larger projectiles with low effort. If any sort of telekinesis perk is added, maybe Projectile accelerator + summon rock, and you are in fact a JEDI MAGE how can throw large boulders at enemies :lunar2020gigglemonkey:

It seems you didn't heard about the Luminous Drill + Ping-Pong Path combo. I'd suggest You try it. :) It's basically evertyhing You wrote, but ranged.

On topic: Necromancy was one of the things that got me REALLY hooked on the game after I had the chance to try it for the first time.

Does Necromancy really DO anything? The few times ive used it, the bodies just seem to hover around me and do nothing. Am I missing something?

depends on how much of the body is left

Do the pathing spell modifiers actually extend the range of Luminous Drill? That's definitely worth a shot.
today I had the joy of combining Tentacle projectile with, electric projectile and the spell that causes touched enemies to generate electrical storms from themself.
Essentially I made a tentacle gun that stunned whatever it touched and turned them into a violent thunder storm.

Projectile modifier spells change the path of Luminous Drill, which would normally be impossible to detect because it's so short-lived, but ping-pong path ADDS LIFETIME somehow, effectively increasing the range. Because a spell that costs no mana and takes no extra time to cast should totally be able to add lifetime. It'll be a sad day when they fix that little doozy.

It also works on other short-duration spells, like chainsaw or digging bolt. It's a very, very useful spell.
