Here's hoping, but I can't find a way that it'd be possible with the current modding API.
What I would prefer is a randomly occuring place that I could spend resources to improve certain wand stats.
There's a mod for that.
on a run-by-run basis, it's entirely possible to end up with four machinegun wands and not have room to experiment with anything else because it would mean throwing away time-tested practical weapons for a 'what if' scenario
on the other hand, unless you invest solely in carrying around four water/blood flasks or get incredibly lucky with alchemy ingredient rolls or you're ferrying around tablets for the true ending most of the things you can stick in your inventory are situational at best, or actively detrimental at worst
similarly, being able to put bombs in your inventory should be standard, rather than a perk roll, which would also solve the biggest problem with making edit wands everywhere available from the start - the bomb wand makes almost every genned wand from the first two floors useless if you slot any low cost direct-damage projectile into it
I do agree, there are times when I wish I had an extra space to put a neat looking wand without having to play the whole drop-and-juggle game with rearranging them in a place where standing still is not recommended. But I also feel like it's a natural part of the challenge of the game, to do what you can with the space you're given.
A challenge I feel might be better alleviated through a perk, rather than something that trivializes the entire thing, like being able to shove whole wands in your inventory, or just having that extra slot completely free.
