How to use triple/double spell
I put it infront of a bunch of projectiles but it never works...

Trigger spells will cast the next spell in queue on the wand when they hit something, so the triple cast can't cast anything more when set up like that. If you had normal (non trigger/timer) spells on that wand it would work as long as it has enough mana, and is set up on a no-shuffle wand, like you have done in the screenshot already.

I see that you have some pretty bad luck with just keeping trigger and timer spells in this game. It's nice to have some normal spells for this kind of thing, they also cost less mana.

Shuffle is very confusing at first. If a wand is a shuffle wand it cycles through each slot 1 by 1. So it hits multicast, then after that each individual spell one by one. in order to fire multiple at once shuffle off ones are better.

Also some wands come with multicast and or spells that you cant get rid of. In my opinion trigger spells are trash due to increased mana cost for almost no benefit. Only helpful in extremely niche cases.

Ah I see, thank you. So those triple spread or multicast spells only affect regular shots? What about stuff like crit modifiers, do those apply to all types of projectiles or just regular ones?

Only if its before multicast and only when multicast is triggered.

They're pretty great. But you only really need to keep one or two in your inventory until you have made a wand with them.

I didnt think of chainsaw idea.... however I dont agree with using it like that because of firerate loss which is what I like about chainsaw. (Also by time static explosions + trigger are available I have always ended up with like 3 - 20 missile/whatever the second moving explosion spell is called.)

One of my ideas is if i get a run with enough black holes + chainsaw spells I will tunnel up to first two levels and mine gold until I have like 8000 or something. (I use chainsaw for mining alot and is OP with melee immunity)

Chainsaw is one of the best spells in the game, can make almost any wand setup with enough slots better, it can increase the fire rate on ranged projectiles too.
