I think people above have confused it with Nightmare Mode.
Honestly I haven't beaten the game in the last few hours to check out if NG+ is a thing yet, but I know it's certainly not in the default start menu yet.
Basically, it's like nightmare mode, except its a continuation of your current run, and can be activated infinite times in your run, scaling up enemy stats significantly each NG+ cycle.
Regardless, the devs seem incredibly open to updating the game to improve the overall experience. I can't believe I played the game without a starting water flask when it fits in so perfectly in the game loop. New Game Plus is a completely brand new and welcome addition, and this is only the first iteration. Can't wait to see where this game goes.
