What is the Tabula Smaragdina?

I keep finding it by the lake of lava. it talks about how nothing is better than their medicine.

What does it do? It takes up a flask slot.

edit: you can get to the top of the mountain by getting items and spells, and then just going backwards.

you can throw it and it does pretty good damage, you can also place it on the shrine above the mountain and get some gold

There are a few ways to fly up the hill above the cave entrance
1: Teleport spell
2: Teleportium fluid (a bit randomised but you can make a little pool and dunk in it over and over until you teleport upwards)
3: Dribbling polymorphium on yourself by holding down right click as you fly with a flask of polymorphium selected. While polymorphed you have infinite flight.
4: Low gravity or strong levitation perks
5: A very powerful recoil wand

Once you are on top of the hill above the cave entrance you can fly upwards to find the alter (and an orb). Throw those green tablets onto the alter to get a little bit of cash.

6: Throw the scroll downwards at very slow velocity so that you can stand on it to recharge, then pick it up and continue flying. Need to do this a few times to get up there though, and it's very easy to mess up.

Another method to get up there is some sort of trail (water recommended) and some sort of method to freeze said trail (like freeze field). Then it's just a matter of climbing the frozen pixels.
Alternatively you can pile up something to stand on, like gunpowder trail.

How do you get these things at the start? WTF am I missing lol?

Like, Yeah why not Black Hole myself through the mountain to the top? LOL it's a good idea, but how do you get that spell up to the cave entrance?

You simply go back up. The world of Noita is pretty big and has a lot going on on its surface.

Did you try to go left after a new game yet?

Yes I did. I found the egg, killed the worm, and then drank the blood to which made the fancy colors.

I don't understand how you can go to Holy Mountain, select a perk, and then go back to the surface. You teleport somewhere and then drop down a large shaft. Can you get back up after that?

The third floor (Ice caves) connects to the first floor (Mines) via a tunnel on the right side, past the lava lake.
Aside from that, you can black hole through the Holy Mountain, at the cost of spawning strong enemies.

you can find wands with freeze field in the mines. you can also find polymorphine potions in the mines. if you really dont want to go down and back up, if you go way left and pass the mines, the 2nd mines, and then the dark cave, you will enter twisted passages which is usually full of potions. Its entirely possible to get up there without items from the other lower floors. Another thing you can do is find a wand that can destroy terran, just blow out little spots to land on while flying up.

another way is to shoot firebolts or magic missiles on the mountainside and stand in the craters

more damage than normal physical objects. A skillful tablet throw can kill steve. You can cash it in at the top of the mountain like some are sauing.

You can also throw it into the shack by the lake if you can make it over the tree and past the snow. . .
