The angry god mechanic is just not fun
99% of the times the gods get angry, its because a worm exists. Why does the god get angry at ME? It just isn't fun. I never get excited about the Gods getting angry over some pixels that aren't even in my field of view.

I'm really enjoying Noita, and I am totally fine with a mechanic for punishing digging out of the shop area. I would also be fine with that punishment randomly happening, it it wasn't so very very common.

I don't know why this happens so often, but there seems to be a worm digging through the Holy Mountain every few games. I've managed to beat the skeleton god a few times, but I would prefer if I didn't have to keep this god in mind every single game even when I have no intention of breaking the "rules".

Maybe it would be better if it was as rare as the random alchemy recipes occurring naturally.

Just my opinion of course.
Btw, I am on the beta branch. It does not seem to make a difference.

Until they fix it, or until you mod the game, a handy thing to do is always try to find a potion of polymorphine. You can toss it at him when he's coming up the ramp from the perk room, and usually turn him into a sheep for an easy kill.
Thanks for the tip!
Angering the gods kinda is necessary and fun once you start to figure out how to play the game.

Make sure to get a Polymorph or a Chaotic Polymorph Flask on the early stages and he wont be a problem anymore, electrocuting him also works really good too because he will get stunlocked.

It used to be a problem for me too but now it's just a normal thing to deal with and I often encounter him without taking any damage at all.

Edit: also, I always check several portals to the holy mountain, when I see that there was a worm anywhere I search on the map for further ressources and prepare for the Boss encounter.

I think, more to the point, the game isn't fun. It's a game for the developers to harass people.
