I would love to see that as well. Game looks awesome but it does not make sense to install windows just for that :-(
Wondering the same. Anyone successfully launched the game with Wineskin Winery?

I'm honestly surprised you don't have a windows partition or virtual machine already. With how many incompatible programs there are, you need both if you're going to use mac.
I frankly don't understand why game developers don't cater to Mac users more often. They're losing a LOT money when they don't, and how difficult can it be to transfer it over to another platform? I really want to play this game, but will not buy it if I have to partition my disk drive to Windblows just to do so. It is promising though that Baba is You worked for Mac, so hopefully the developers will do the same for this game.

Statistics say they're not losing as much as you think.
Nor is it as easy as they think. Otherwise everyone would just ♥♥♥♥ out the multi-OS releases.
Second this, its a light weight game so should be perfect for it, but as others have said, could just switch. it would save me the hassle though especially if out and about. Still if i'm in the house (99% of the time when im gaming) i just use steam streaming from my desktop to my mac.

It depends on how the game is programmed. It's in C++, so there's a chance that if it uses a bunch of common libraries that work on Mac, and making a Mac port is fairly straightforward.

Or it could not. And that would mean it would require rebuilding the entire game engine from scratch, completely from the ground up. If that's the case... It's probably coming exactly never.

But, we'll just have to see.

For those who are more technically inclined, I was able to get this game running on mac using wine.

The only special thing I needed to do was add an override for msvcr120.dll to use the native .dll instead of the built in one, otherwise you'll get a crash right after the title screen

To make the game running on mac:
- Buy the .exe (humble store for instance)
- Install WIne (following this https://www.davidbaumgold.com/tutorials/wine-mac/ )
- Override msvcr120.dll: in terminal, launch winecfg, go to librairies, in the 'New override for library' field search msvcr120 and press Add
- in the terminal, 'wine noita.exe'

The developer's previous games have MAX/OSX support.

I may be years too late but download Porting Kit by paulthetall and then in Porting Kit download Steam 64 bit. Hope you enjoy.
