Who are the top 3 AI companions for Endless Ragnarok?
Who are the top 3 AI companions for Endless Ragnarok? Has anyone tested which characters perform best as AI teammates? AI companions that deal decent damage, build SBA quickly, and can also provide useful support. Are Cagliostro and Yodarha still among the best choices like they were before Endless Ragnarok, or has the meta changed?

Sieg is absolutely insane right now. Zeta got even BETTER. Captain is better. Maglielle is insane as well. Eustace can rival Eugen DPS but requires set up. Cag got even mroe insane with those Mastery Traits. Yodarha same as Cag. avoid Fediel

Still running Eugen and Rackam purely because after countless farming runs, I got tired of Link Time opportunities being missed because the character was out of range. This almost never happens for ranged characters with their obscene targeting distance perks. The 4th slot is a floater that Percival normally occupies because I mained him and he's stacked and I don't have to gear another character to use him. Sometimes I swap in a bonus character from hiring or use Sandalphon because he's Sandalphon. I currently main Yodarha so it really doesn't matter who I bring as long as they don't die and can reliably trigger links and SBAs on demand.

For tough fights that need buffs, I mainly play online and look for supporters who can bring utility to the team, as I do with mirror image.
Percy cpu builds stacks quickly and is generally considered one of the better supports if not the best. I forgot what skills you use for him though
I'm using narmaya, siegfried and cagliostro and they can clear everything.
Don't know if they are the best tho, it's too soon to say with all the masteries and so on.
I've been running Sandolphon, Cag and Maglielle. I also sometimes use Fediel as AI, but she's kind of a mixed bag. Sandy I've been considering switching to Sieg, since I've heard good things about him. Cag and Maglielle out of those would be my go to.

Cag: I run her with the support master trait spec, so her DPS isn't the top tier. What she does provide though is some great team buffs with Phantasmagoria. On top of that she seems to get SBA faster than average. My cag is at master trait level 30 with not even all the weapons upgraded yet, and she can drop 80k AoE shields with a pretty short cooldown, which is great if you're not using full assist. I think it provides even more usefulness if you're running a melee character aswell. I think the support style master traits makes the res ability (rhizomata) also provide phantasmagoria, which can boost your dps, even if you're getting KOed, though AI Cag will use rhizomata only to res, so it won't use it as another source of phantasmagoria without it. Shields can be applied even if you're using the Ventus sigil, so that's a W.

Maglielle: I've found AI mag to be excellent dps-wise. She can build her meter consistently and aims for max sword dance, which she can reliably pull off due to Ai being able to dodge pretty much everything. During link time, the AI will use sword dance continuously, which provides amazing dps for an AI, since it's the same thing you'd do as a player.

On top of her ability to dish out continious DPS, she also has a pseudo res through her staff ability. if you switch her healing to provide shields instead of healing, she'll use the staff for ressing only. From my experience, if you ran both cag and mag at the same time, mag will often use the staff before cag uses her rhizomata. The staff isn't an instares, but it'll travel to the downed character and speed up the process of getting up. So in the sense, if Cag would use her rhizomata before the staff, you'd save some critical meter.

I don't know if it's the best option, but I've been using the shield traits for Maglielle because I run her with Cag. On trait level 3, Mag will receive + damage dealt based on the amount shields she has. And with Cag dropping those 80k shields, she'll get that bonus with ease. If you wait just a moment when a battle starts, Cag will start the battle by using the shield skill right away, giving the entire party almost max shields right from the get go, giving mag the boost aswell.

I don't know about Sandolphon besides that he's reliable at dishing damage and keeping on the bosses heels.

As for Fediel, I've been using the same master trait as everyone else which allows her to spam 5 of those chaos orb finishers. For Ai, it's a bit of a mixed bag, because Fediel will often try to get those claw buffs up to level 10, wasting time before going for the finisher. When she does go for the finisher spam, she will use all 5 if she's able to. The problem is, that AI fediel has a lot shorter aggro range for enemies compared to when you're playing her. If you're playing her, you can lob those orbs across the map, but AI can't even cover half the map, so if the boss moves away, she won't use all the orbs. But the damage is there IF she can go for that finisher combo and land atleast a few.
Tweyen. Not only does she put others to shame, but she actually is eady to use amd fun.
I haven't changed anything for NPC teammates since original game and I've played more co-op than solo in ragnarok.

Honestly to fully max all characters or even multiple characters, you need to farm for days non-stop, with or without conflux, unless you are using some exploits,

You are very unlikely to see fair comparisons beside newbies going OP whenever they see 1 fully geared character clear newbie zone, where everyone else is still using gear from the original game.
Ghandagosa is probably the single best one
I run Perci, Zeta and Rackham / Io, everything melts.

I play Cagli. Very curious to give Sigfried a spot if he can dish out more dps than Zeta

I won't say i maxed all out. But I definitely have put time into 9 characters. Many say choose one, stick with it, but unless you play a few you won't know if you like.

And I can't judge fair unless I at least give them decent gear.

It's almost like we don't know yet because no one has done in-depth enough testing at endgame to find out. Gearing multiple characters is an incredible time investment in ER, assuming you're doing it legitimately anyway.

It's almost like that doesn't matter for the commenters complaint. Not knowing is not an invitation to go offtopic.
Fediel, Ferry, Cag, Zeta running C++ just fine.

The only thing people have to go off of is their experiences.

Perhaps instead of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that the answers aren't within the tightly knit constraints of what YOU wanted, read between the lines a little and glean that information yourself.
