We dunno about raids.. there is one more mission comming and that doesnt look like it will be different than the stuff we currently have.
I personally would consider the ice+wind dragon quest the biggest hurdle for solo play. The bots can not stay alive in that fight whatsoever. They just cant handle the mechanics but its very specific to that fight.
Everything else they are arguably better than trying to get it done in public lobbies because theres always that 1 guy farming downs.
Online is required for dalia badges (a daily system that gives access to a lot of really rare mats/items which all can technically be gained in other ways but can be a huge pain without, especially the character specific sigils). However its just 1 quick quest every couple of days so not a huge deal.
everything seems doable at least tho, so far anyway
there's a form of soft lock in one character voucher being locked behind an item that's easily gained online but hyper rare offline. I'm on proud and have yet a single dalia gold badge offline, and you need seven of them for the voucher. frankly a pretty ♥♥♥♥ way to force people playing online.

Up untill last difficulty you can get by with 1 main character invested and maybe another half invested. But after that you'll have to build 4 characters (the one your playing + 3 more for the AI). Its a grind, but its doable.
