To those who have reached the apex of endgame, what are your thoughts? Also, what are ways I can improve my power to go beyond 16k? I'm currently stuck on The Wolf and the Veil.

I haven't done much of it yet, just the unlock quest and the earth dragon. I was surprised how easy the earth dragon was.

Power is also a pointless stat. It does literally nothing and values hp incredibly highly. Attack power is gonna be hard to push much past 10k but thats fine because you'll be damage capped long before then. You essentially want max damage cap upgrades (so 4 Vs and a wightstone on your weapon giving 4-5 levels of it) and then one-two damage skills like crit damage or stamina. Less if you have active buffs.

After that cdr/stun and defensive skills are good. Having potion hoarder and drain will make life much easier. Also a fan of max improved dodge for more i-frames.

If possible, get the war elemental sigil from qurios but it's a random drop. You also want to get your characters double sigil from transmarvel (it will have both of your characters unique sigils).

Stuck on Wolf and Veil as well. Only fight I've considered myself stuck on. White Dragon is in 2nd place with like 4 tries.
The issues I run into are:
-Players don't know you can spam any button to revive yourself faster.
-Players don't have Potion Hoarder.
-Players don't know about damage cap, and probably have too many ATK/Crit/DMG sigils and no 0 survivability (I freeflutter combo Gallanza for 31k a hit while the mega squishy Narmaya next to me hits for 5k)
-Players don't know you can hold block while doing a combo and you'll just auto-block ♥♥♥♥. From there one can practice trying to Perfect Block. But people just... Don't block at all.

As my build has been changing I vary between 16k-18k power, but I'm building around a Damage Cap skill level of 45 currently until I get better Sigils. I spent some time going in and out of the Training Dummy, hitting Damage Cap in the most efficient way possible so I can make room for Survivability/Utility Sigils.

Block is King. Dodge has some applications, e.g. against Bloodlust phases, but if the boss is not in said state, you want to perfect block as much as you can for free stuns.

Also, most players feel like they don't know about caps. I was surprised the cap was low, but if you're actually paying even half attention to your damage numbers, you'll notice it's capping and you should be mitigating it.

Also, most players have absolutely ZERO survivability. As a Vaseraga my Substitute helps a lot, but if it's in CD pretty much everyone just keeps dying.

100% this, nobody blocks attacks... they just try to dodge it and eats the hit instead which ofc in this difficulty its pretty much an one hit kill.

90 runs of Proto Bahamut and counting. That's the endgame experience.

Already at 8 terminus weapons, and so far drop rates are much higher than in gatcha Granblue.
And as far as advices go as it been mentioned, Damage cap, crit rate, And from curio apprisals try and get War element and Supplement damage sigils. For survivability potion hoarder (preferrably as "+" tag on sigil) and maybe get improved dodge with onslaugh sigil or same for block.
Oh and very important learn what danger zones mean, all danger zones have different animations telegraphing what kind of attack is it going to be, for example Id has move that makes circular zone with cone shaped waves outside of it meaning attack is two step, when he jumps in there he immedeately follow it up with wide swing energy launch.

Can you grind terminus weapons with one character or do I need to have that character specifically to get that weapon?

Honestly I'm too lazy to build characters I barely play.
You can grind them all with one character.

It doesnt matter what character you play.

And I thought this game cant get any easier, you can cancel anything into dodge, heal at any time and autoblock. Quite boring ngl

While those are powerful tools, the window for perfect dodge and block is pretty tight with a sizeable lockout. Normal block breaks very quickly as well. It's still fairly easy to get hit, a lot, on the later quests, especially with 2-3 bosses at a time.

My Narmaya hits around 38-48k per hit…i dont parry/counter i just dodge get invincibility and DMG Up and keep attacking…rinse and repeat and i take around 1-2 million HP every 10-13 seconds. Depending if i get the perfect dodge and the corresponding DMG Up And Invincibility.

What the hell are you guys on about with hitting only 10-18k o.O and how did you guys even get past Bahamuth Versas DMG Gates hitting so low numbers o.O

Im currently at lv.52 damage cap. I had no idea I could hold the block button while doing comboes. I do have maxed improved dodge, you know yo float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. Good tip.

Also the atk and health sigils seems to have low returns. Aegiis gives more HP than health and literally and damage blmodifier is better than atk. Let me know if I am wrong.

Yea the Duo Galanza and the loli are the hardest fight in the game if people dont know how to dodge its a death fest.
CHAO$$$ Feb 7, 2024 @ 5:43am
Go to the dummy and min max your setup with Tyranny, Crit, Stamina and damage cap.
Most of the big buff damage sigils give diminishing returns fairly early on. Get supplementary damage and war sigil if you win the lottery.

Roll the 2K mastery lottery again for more damage cap bonuses.

A handful of characters get huge damage cap bonuses from their personal sigils in addition to that.

Autorevive, Guts, Potion hoarder and a couple of others are all useful especially when theyre on a +Sigil.

Staying alive matters more than other stuff but you still need to kill things eventually. Long combos in general dont do well against the really hard quests. Ranged cahracters have huge advantages on a lot of bosses imo because they have much less downtime.

Also mash harder! Mashing out of downs can be really really fast but even if people do mash theyre only trying half heartedly from what ive seen. Nobody is rezzing you in a duo boss fight with aoe everywhere. That said if you do get the opportunity because the downed guy is near you and youre not in the red zone you should obviously always try to.

Bursting in overdrive can be useful to shorten the phase against a lot of bosses but not all of them even if you lose out damage. It doesnt work against the Dark dragon tho from what ive seen and the light dragon is always a pain at low hp so maybe save it for that.

The gallanza magiell bossfight is pretty doable solo. The bots do alright, make sure to stack them with autorevive and guts.
