then there are pictures and a video of killing and attacking other students in the school.
As far as I know, a character that kills people to get the attention of the loved one is what falls under the definition of a Yandere character.
and isn't this LITERALLY just yandere simulator? like an actual 100% ripoff?
tl;dr it's probably an asset flip with slightly more than average effort tossed in.
There is literally NOTHING else to do, but beat other students to death?
I wouldn't mind but that's not what was promised on the store page. I mean there's not even an option to be stealthy or to use other methods of combat, AND the students don't attack. I'm not naturally evil, I can't kill baddies unless they deserve it (like by attacking me first). So here I am on a campus full of creepy Stepford Students (who don't even have THAT much personality) without even a caption to prompt me towards a direction.
Maybe this is a cultural difference, but I really don't remember "bathing in the blood of the innocent" being part of the core cirriculum at my school.
I dunno; turn the students into zombies/aliens/robots/evil youkai/whatever, replace the blunt weaponry with water guns or paint ball markers, anything. This is like a highschool shooting scenario except instead of a racist psycho it's an attention hungry psycho.

To be honest, the only reason you compare it with YandereSim is because of the Unity asset Ayano being used as the heroine model, because it has some combat in it (weapons, blood) and because the keybinding/interaction system is the same. (press/hold E). Though those interaction hotkey things are packaged. I mean a lot of games use those in their own way. What it misses though to be truly compared to it is dialogues, voice acting, approperiate animations, small things like that. xD
From what i saw on the video, if you would remove the interaction system and turn every object into a ragdoll, this project would suddenly be comparable with goat simulator. (just saying how empty it seems.)
Perhaps its better to show some unique aspects of this game and give us reasons to buy it. (for example, conversations, cutscenes, events, things like that.)
Sitting on a chair and hacking and slashing is something a lot of games have. I don't mind if everything you use is an asset to be honest, but it might be an idea to customize the heroine at least, since that's a character you'll play and since Aoi is being overused by other projects.
I like the way you designed the school though. (not sure if you did (since I have seen a lot of assets, it could be a prefab), but it looks nice.) I guess I'll wait a bit and see what happens before judging.
