The freeze bug has been fixed internally and will be included in the next patch.
As for the rocket passing the escape spaces, that's intentional and won't be changed. The rocket will always go as far as it can towards the goal chest, skipping everything along the way. Saying that, the trophy for passing the escape space might be changed in the next patch to reward some number of keys instead (while keeping the trophy as a reward for landing exactly on the space, as it was before 1.13) as we've seen feedback that trophies are obtained too quickly on that map.
Hope that helps,
- Charlton
I agree, it's an interesting feature but it was literally the fastest game I've ever had, everybody was just rushing to the exit while trying to avoid other players. You got to take into consideration all the feedback, but personally, I don't like getting a trophy if you land exactly on escape but keys otherwise, there's already an RNG element with the being caught thing, and adding that will just make the map super RNG. Might be more interesting to actually have 3 chests on the map but the escape always gives you 20 keys or something like that. And with the map being small fighting for chests can be brutal (a good thing). But that's just my feedback.
