How to add local player?

Does anybody know how to add a local player? I am using a keyboard and ps4 controller, and I am having a hard time to set it up and there is no manual I can refer to...

By default the first controller and the keyboard/mouse are assigned to the first player, this allows easily switching between the two if you're just playing as a single player.

If you want to separate the controller from the first player you'll need to assign the controller to the second player in the options menu.

1. Click the 'Options' button on the main screen of the game.
2. At the top click the 'Controls' text tab button.
3. Click the 'Player1' button.
4. Press the 'Assign Controller' button just below the last button.
5. Press any button or move any axis on the controller you want to assign to this player.
6. Click yes on the prompt that appears once you do step 5.

The controller should now be assigned to the second player and you should be able to use both the controller and keyboard/mouse as separate players.

Droidjoy from f.grill160 lets you use up to 4 mobile devices as an xinput gampad controllers. Remember to set your network connection as private - or just disable your firewall temporarily.

What worked for me was assigning player 2 to the controller. Hope it helps!
