Hi, when you unlock cat challenges, upon completing them do you get any special rewards or just crystal collectables? I have a feeling that some of them are impossible to do without coop. Because it requires a simultaneous dodging and controlling both characters instantly.

Cat challenges! That is a great way to refer to them. I love it!

Completing them does not unlock anything but there is an achievement for getting all of them just like getting all the collectibles in any level.

They all can be completed solo but most are at a much higher level of difficulty than the rest of the game. I would suggest coming back to them later if you haven't gone through all the levels yet.

I managed to complete two challenges so far, I guess I'm slowly getting the hang of it :) The one where you have to go up, dodge arrows, control ruby and majesty at the same time by hiding in the wall corners and turning off/on switches is still too hardcore though haha.

There is a trick to that one on Ruby's side.

i'd also like some help getting the secret ending, final final final final final, and flipped
