Just a question
Hi, I bought the game, but it won't stock up to my library as a +1 additonal game. Is it just because it's still new? Thanks.

Oh right this business.

You can try the demo if it looks at all interesting. It includes the first parts of 2 of the 11 areas of the full game. There really isn't another game out there that plays like this and it is priced for the length and variety. Thanks for the info drop.

Huh! It didn't make the count go up? Some stuff on Steam takes some time to propogate so it might just go up at some point. There isn't anything special about my game that would make it not count.

Either way, I want to take more time with the game before writing a review, but I must say I really enjoy it so far! The puzzles are clever and the world itself is very interesting to explore and to progress further to get any clues of what exactly is going on, I absolutely love the design of world map and those illustrations for the stages, gives me strong old school wario vibes from gameboy. I love the extra challenge with the collectables, everything plays and works smoothly, I haven't found any bugs so far, it feels very unique and polished. I already recommended this game to several people, I hope it will get more attention that it truly deserves!

Just few things though, I feel like when majesty lands on buttons, it gets a bit frustrating with the collision, quite often I struggle to land properly, it's easy to miss.. considering there was a puzzle in the creature temple/ruins, forgot exactly how it was called, where you have to press switches with the time limit, so it was a bit confusing because of majesty's hitbox. Another thing which would be cool is that if you missed some collectables, would be nice when you come back to pick them up, it wouldnt require you to redo the whole long stage all over again, just because you missed 1 item. It would be enough to leave the room, save the progress and teleport back to the world map. Also the track: Synthwave 08 is amazing, I always turn it on while visiting the safe!

Just few, popular games from indie category will reach the point where it will give +1 to game count as its need enough traffic, need create enough revenue etc else its just considered by steam is learning about algorythms as a flop and spam game.

I dont want you to make sad but i think its unlikely this game will ever give you +1 to your game count, with this many daily new game releases most of the times even gems gets burried (not saying this game is a gem tho, with this price its not competitive enough for me to try, there are many better choices for 10eur and never enough time for all the good games).

It doesn't make me sad in any way, I was just curious, but now I understand the reasons. It's all good. The price is yes, quite debatable but after playing the game and seeing how much it has changed since the last time I tried the old build on Gamejolt, I can easily notice how much work and love was put into this. It's a solo project, and it delivers a high quality experience, the developer has changed the game beyond recognition. It really depends if you are the fan of such genre, which is like a mixture between Wario and Knytt series, it's something that is hard to find nowadays. I get these nostalgic moments from tiny gamejam games that you used to find on Newgrounds or Kongregate, and wished that someone would make a huge fleshed out game one day. Puzzlevania is really, the best way to describe this gem.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
