Unrated, but is it better?

Title says it all for the most part. Sure you're getting the uncensored version of the game, but considering the numerous amount of issues that apprently plagued the original version (various bugs, AI pathfinding issues, clunky navigation, level design issues, etc etc), I have to wonder how well even the unrated version will do if those problems aren't addressed.

You'll definitely finally get the actual uncensored version of the game that the devs promised a while back but when there are still issues with the actual gameplay part of the video game, would it even be worth it to give Agony another chance?

If the gameplay problems and bugs actually have been addressed and fixed, then somebody please enlighten me, because I still keep hearing about them.

In our opinion, Agony Unrated is better than the original, but you will judge it by yourself :)


Also, we will send the game to the reviewers very soon, so you will be able to read them before you buy the game.

Will there be a 3rd person gameplay option or is it forced 1st person only? Will buy for 3rd person, will not buy for 1st person only.

This is one of the only cool hell themed new games available on Steam since so many game devs are shying away from brutal/sexual hellscapes which sucks yet all the cool games like this are all forced 1st person perspective.

I would pay at least 100$ for a crazy hell themed game like this with Dragon Age Origins gameplay/combat. Who do I have to blow to get that game made?

Agreed, I prefer not to have any muck ups for stuff thrown in that wasn't originally planned. Though I will admit, if it was selectable, I could spend a few moments admiring the Sucubus from all angles. hey! Bahahaha! What you want is 'free-cam' mode. Only way I could do that with Cheat Engine was by disabling the timer when your soul evaporates. So you die and roam about, you can watch statics or creatures from all angles or just skip ahead and possess someone far further. Just mind the c'thulhu spawn while in soul mode, they can still kill you.

For now, it's Steam-Only, but we are looking for the way to release it on other platforms too. The game is designed with the FP camera in mind and we don't plan any changes in here.

Not as interesting as admiring a a succulant Succubus, I did like checking out Sebastion's weapons in Evil Withins in this manner. those c'thulu octopus things vs. Baphomet...which would win?

Wonder what engine Agony Unrated is built on, though. Thought it was Unity if I recall the file structure, could be wrong here. Or CryEngine? If so, CryEngine has motor files that allow you to enable freecam.
