Zero Caliber VR

Zero Caliber VR

Every time I haven't played in a few months, the game gets a bit worse
1. Hail is entirely different... the feel of it, the graphics. It is nowhere near as fun or as exciting as Hail from 2022.
2. Comfort seems entirely different, map-wise, at least in the first part (the suburbs/houses). I got lost, in fact.
3. Still don't understand why s--t and f--k are uncensored in certain parts of the game, dialog-wise, and censored in others. What is the point?
4. The graphics are getting worse and worse. Overall pink/orange/pastel hues.... and not vibrant, like the game was back in 2022.

I can't be alone in feeling this. Hail is INSANELY disappointing. The first part of it-- the trenches... used to be my favorite thing. Now it's all wooden boxes everywhere instead of dirt hills and trenches. I don't know.

I still do enjoy the game, and always will, but every few months when it's quietly updated... the game keeps getting worse.

Should also mention-- it's really annoying how you can't start the game via the Virtual Desktop games menu, inside my Quest 2. You have to click the PLAY button, inside Steam, to launch it. Otherwise, it crashes. It used to not do this. Have no clue what changed. Should have been fixed by now (over a year later, this issue).

That's something related to an update to the Virtual Desktop that basically broke the direct Steam access to games that uses certain versions of the Unreal Engine.

Though I got to make it clear that outside of the hassle of having to open Steam/Steam VR to launch the game, there are no different between launching the game via Virtual Desktop's quick menu and doing the long way around through Steam. Even if you launch a game through the Virtual Desktop quick access menu, it will still open Steam in the background and run the game through it. (That's what got broken where the quick link doesn't open the Steam API properly anymore, hence the game instantly crashes.)
