[EDITED IN RESPONSE TO UPDATE] Zero Caliber Rift Store PCVR still on update 0.12.1.0

[EDIT : As of 7/20/2023 The Rift Store has been updated to version 1.8 along with the steam and quest versions. This is a good change and I am glad that something was able to be fixed with reaching out on relevant platforms. I will leave the original post up but the changes that happened is a good step in keeping the promise to early access buyers on all platforms.]

I just wanted to make this thread in the hopes the Devs can see this and maybe actually respond back. I have contacted them on Discord, Email, Twitter, YouTube, and other Discussions on here with no reply back. The Oculus Rift store version of Zero Caliber is still on version 0.12.1.0 and was last updated THREE YEARS ago, on March 28, 2019. The update notes mention more updates coming, but they never arrived. Each new update announcement only mentions the Quest and Steam versions of the game. The Quest version is not cross buy either so it is not like I can download it and enjoy the updates from that version. There is no way i am giving them any more money to purchase an additional version of the game (on Steam or Quest) that is getting all of the modding updates and PVP. I already paid $24 Four years ago on the promise that I would one day get the full game. If you check the recent reviews, every single one is 1-star from other angry buyers warning against buying the game on that platform, and urging others to refund the game if possible. I have also seen other discord users asking about the Rift store version who are also ignored. If this version is no longer being updated in favor of the Quest and Steam versions, then free steam keys to the users who are no longer getting updates for the game they paid for would be very nice. I do not think I will buy anything else from XREAL Games until it is has fully released. They clearly do not handle the early access model correctly.

Write on the forum of the store where you bought, here no one cares about what is happening in other stores.
You have purchased from oculus>>facbook>>meta. Steam, steam clients and those who sell their games here, have no reason to care about what happens there.

I posted here hoping XREAL Games would see it and reply like they do on some of the other discussion posts. I posted here after contacting the XREAL Games support Email, the XREAL Games email, and the discord with no reply back at all. There is no forum on the storefront I bought it from, just a long list of 1-star reviews after people noticed the lack of updates. I am leaving the post here just in case they take notice and try to help with this issue. Thank you for the reply and good luck message.

you basically contacted them on every major public platform, and they still didnt reply. How many hints do you need to see that the devs dont care about anything at all except pushing their alpha software for the next steam sale.

You are exactly right, The lack of replies to anyone asking these questions tells me all i need to know. I hope this Discussion can stay as a warning to future buyers about this company. If they want an example of a Dev who has done an excellent job with early access, they should look at Anton Hand from Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades. I feel like I should pay him more money with how many updates and improvements he has continually added to the game and it is only $20. XREAL Games cannot be trusted at all. There games have a lack of updates, lack of communication, and a lack of care for the community.I will not be buying anything else they come out with. Thanks for the reply, and have a good day.
