Zero Caliber VR

Zero Caliber VR

Request: Toggle Mirror Source Eye
So, sometimes I stream Zero Caliber for my buddies over Discord, which actually got one of them to buy the game. It's been fun to share games like ZC that way.

However, the mirror (what's displayed on the desktop and used for streams, not sure if there's another name for it) uses the left eye for what's displayed with no way to change it. As someone who is right-eye dominant, this makes aiming down my sights look pretty weird to my "audience". They can't really tell what I'm shooting at since I'm using my right eye to aim.

What I'd like to request is a simple toggle in the options for switching between the left and right VR eye as the mirror source, akin to Half-Life: Alyx's "Spectator Eye" option.

Thanks, Auto

I second this, always show friends and they say it looks terrible because they see your left eye, would also be useful for sharing game play footage via socials

I third this. Help content creators out in this regard and it will pay dividends in free marketing for the game. Off-eye viewpoint means viewers can look down sights or scopes with the player, it's a big difference.

Use OBS studio with the vr plugin and set the right eye rendering. also the quality is much better. https://youtu.be/oRdWCwMbEDY

When I attempted to use the OpenVR plugin with OBS I just got a black screen. I use the plugin with other games but it didn't seem to work with Zero Caliber. Playing on Oculus Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop.

Don't you have the oculus mirror tool ? Look here in your oculus folders \Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusMirror.exe

Oculus Mirror doesn't work with Virtual Desktop. Does it work with the new Air Link?
