Need a good weapon stock to enjoy
I have tried to play a few of these style games but with mixed results. Any single handed weapon is perfectly fine but when you move to two handed weapons you go all spaztic. You need some way to hold a single object for anything two handed. I have seen some Stocks out there where you can mount the controllers in but how well do they work? I want to feel like I'm holding a rifle.

This sounds like something Stress Level Zero were working. I've never played Hover Junkers because it sounds like the multiplayer was dead when I got my Vive.

But this sounds like the perfect idea for all two handed weapons that have a stock. Watch from around 7 minutes if you are intersted.

I was just playing and was shooting lots of the 2 handed weapons single handed. No recoil problems and just put a laser sight on everything!!!!! But Perhaps I can shoot all the big guns single handed BECAUSE I AM A MONSTER!!!!! :steammocking:

I would recommend Protube, especially the Magtube version. :)

I build one myself from pvc pipe. Was pretty easy. I used pipes with roughly 4cm diameter. I attached the controller by having a bit of pipe in an angled t-section. I heated up the endpipe with a candle and pushed it into a slightly oval shape and made a cutout for the grip button. Works greate, was very cheap and since the controller is only held in with friction and I attached a sling to the whole thing, I can quickly detach the controller for pistols. Just google for "oculus gunstock pvc pipe" to get an idea.

Magtube user here. Can confirm. It's very easy to take the cups off the stock. It has a sling. And it has a customizable design where parts of it can fold or unfold and the section the cups connect on can move, tilt, and swivel. Or you can lock them in place.

the price is ridiculous! if at least additional sensors for the tracking would be there .. ok...but this?? no way...
this VR-gametool costs perhaps 10-15 bucks in production (3D printed + magnet)

i thought about some kind of stuff for shooter with 2 handed guns and looking for....like the PlayStationVR Aim Controller, as native controller for Rift...but there is actual no hardware on the move

This is my version of cheap, home made gunstock. You only need some wooden slats, a plastic sun lotion bottle (or any bottle made of soft plastic in proper size), and some screw. It costs about $1 to $5, and it realy works very good. (I made it from junk, so it was free.)
