this has pretty much nothing in comon with onward except for the modern setting and both being shooters.
PvP is coming Q1 2019 according to the Devs Q&A. Don't know about Onward though, never played it.
Onward and their shutty updates needs to disappear. Fanboys are keeping the game strong.
Zero Caliber is the half way point between Pavlov and Onward. It has a strong sense of teamplay like Onward, but more arcady firearm physics like Pavlov.
I'm not currently a huge fan of the controls in Zero Caliber, but that should be a relatively easy fix. As long as they can handle that, it's definitely worth a purchase.
Fiddling with graphics options might help, if not, please report performance issues in the Bugreports subforum.
