While riding the patrol boat, hit E (like opening the equipment menu), and the boat has equipment slots where you can equip the gun.

Thank you, i had somehow missed the "weapon" part of that menu haha. Guess i was more tired than i realized. Loving the game so far, keep up the great work!

Is there a way to get the markets to be no longer abandoned? I managed to save my town from the first bombardment on the magic line, and made the shield after that. I was hoping there was a way to get my market back.

You can obtain blueprints for the late-game markets, which you can then build in their places. They will have mostly the same things for sale, but need power (if I remember correctly).

Hi,
I just bought aground for my kids on mac. It downloaded, and open to the menu with music playing, but nothing works. We cant click anything, and no keyboard buttons work. The VPN is off, and no virus software is on. I don't want to return it, my kids and I liked the demo!
We've never used steam before.

Try verifying the file integrity: Right click Aground in your Steam Library -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Files

Try clicking the Aground icon on the dock - for some reason some mac OSes require you to interact with Aground on the dock before it lets it accept mouse and keyboard input. You'll have to exit fullscreen to do so, but once it's working you can return to fullscreen.

My farmer bots just stuck together and didn't harvest my crops or pens (neither wood or steel/coral), what's wrong with it or just their AI not smart enough to find those ready-to-harvest crops/pens?

Their AI is a bit weird. They will bunch near things that are ready to harvest quickly (and it seems like they may follow the same paths). I believe the devs are planning to update it in the near future.

I didn't realise the first island would be gone when I built the boat and sailed off, so I didn't dismantle anything and take it with me, have lost all my baby dragons, buildings/storage etc. Is this a permanent thing or will I be going back there at some point? I made a point of not finding out anything about the game before I bought it (on switch) so apologies if this seems like something you would just know.

Not quite sure what you mean by "gone" (you are still able to return to it, simply sail back to the east in your boat). If you went through the whirlpool (and that is your meaning of "gone" - I did that my first game!), simply go back through the whirlpool and sail east.

Oh do you know - I could kick myself, I did go through a whirlpool but thought I'd come back the other way! Cheers.

You aren't the first. I did that myself and worried that They got to my island (and somehow removed the mountain!)

There is a special slot in the equipment screen for backpacks. Equip it there and it works automatically, increasing carrying capacity.
