Adventure League Board. This is found in Sulan port (which maybe is what Mandii was referencing? Not sure since journey quests are a different thing which give exp) which gives exp and money for players 49+
Scour also gives a bit of money per mob kill. It is not super efficient but is a good way to get exp as well so worth doing frequently.
Sell white/green gears (blue can arguably be sold as well but purple you should definitely destroy [hammer icon in backpack] for hematite). Once you are able to solo darkfall you can easily farm gears and sell them for notes. Again not the most efficient way of making money especially if you can't quickly kill these mobs but it will definitely add a steady source of income.
Ascension Stones and Spirit Essence (used to make Ascension essence) sell for quite a bit of money when sold to a npc such as the grocer. Personally I get enough Ascension Essences in a week to not need to use either of these (as in I cap/don't have enough whimsy to keep using) and can sell them for money instead of using.
Other quests/faction quests - pretty much all quests offer some small amount of notes as a reward.
Weekly Events/Ranking Rewards - Places like disk hop, stamina dash, trial of the four kings, Anglars Atoll offer weekly rewards for ranking. Some of these are notes others are coins and I can't remember which is which off the top of my head but they are worth it either way
you can make it 10 times each day (5normal and 5 more if a guild mate put a quest on the board)
if you have the big cart (30 slots) u can make 14k notes per run... 140k notes /days just with cart quests and lot of time ;)
and your guild got 1M300 guild notes ;)
