What i'd also like is Cross-Platform Play, to play on both mobile and PC in multiplayer.
I'd also like to see a version for Linux. I really perfer Linux, so i hope that is possible.
I've always wished we had some non-hostile options with other tribes, such as establishing trade relationships or alliances, but that's a whole-game update, not a PC feature.
Perhaps the ability to rotate the map (sprites would rotate to face the player at all times, it'd be the map that turns), but that's mostly unnecessary and also may not be possible with how the game works.
Perhaps maps that aren't perfect 1:1 squares, and are irregular, also randomly or procedurally generated. You might end up with a map that has a bottleneck, or is hook-shaped, or anything else like that.
The map border/shape itself is what I'm talking about, but theoretically such borders will also exist with large mountain ranges and oceans.
I'll definetly be buying it on here as well when it comes out and I think it would be best to release all the 'normal' tribes at least with the purchasing of the game. That will definetly encourage more people to buy it over selling the tribes individually. You can always keep the 3(currently 2) special tribes as individual purchases and maybe make a bundle purchase for all 3 once the third one is finished up.
As other's have said I think looking into larger maps would help make the game a lot more interesting, expecially if you can find a way to let other players ally each other or ally the AI.
Another big addition to the game you might want to consider is a map-editor and a way to share maps, although that will mean you(or someone else) will have to manage that for the long-term at least.
And finally I'll ask for some sort of economy, perhaps the Custom Houses will create their own 'trade-routes' to other Custom Houses built on the map as long as that AI has a positive relation(or neutral with no recent attacks or border intrusions) with the player.
You could allow this trade system between players as long as they haven't attacked each other for 2-turns(example) and want to do so.
Maybe also throw in a Draw option where everyone agrees to end the game without anyone winning.
Oh, also maybe an in-game chat system even if it's pre-written messages you can send to one another or something of that like. I enjoy playing with others on mobile but sometimes I wish I could just send a quick message to a player about a strategy or plan.
I love this game. Bought all Tribes on the phone and I was so excited when I saw it come out on steam. I am a 100% Linux gamer and it would be awesome if you could please make it natively available for Linux :-) I will buy all the content again if I can play it on Linux.
But Linux Is also #1 on my list, Should not be hard, just try to keep Linux in mind from the start :)
I love the game concept and visuals, and I was wondering if you would consider porting your game to Steam OS/Linux at some point after it was realsed? As you are already working on a macOS port, it wouldn't be too difficult to make it also availbe for Steam OS/Linux.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I'm wishing you the very best of luck and lots of success with your game!
