Can't join friend.

My friend invites me to a private game, and it just says "your connection to the host has been lost." I hosted and he got the same error. Our internet is fine because I'm able to join his servers on any other game but this. I restarted my computer, disabled/enabled my firewall, went into my router settings and disabled/enabled my ipv6. idk what to do help

Try grouping up in the lobby using the plus button in the top right instead of starting a game and inviting. You might need to restart your games if you have issues connecting with each other using that method, but it should work.
