Can't get past epileptic warning screen. Crashes.

I recently decided to download the game again after not playing for awhile, and the game crashes every time it gets to the epileptic warning. I've reinstalled to different drives multiple times, cleared my cache, and have verified my games files. My pc is good enough to handle it but I'll go ahead and put my specs below.

i7-11700k
RTX 3060 12GB
32GB Corsair Vengeance
4x 1TB SSD

it could be your anti virus stopping you, same thing happened to me. try creating an exception on the file

im a little upset that worked

My antivirus is popping up telling me this is infected with something. I played this in the past but what changed? Is it still safe?

Yes, this is a false positive and seems to only be present for some third party antivirus programs (no reason to run these btw, you really only need Windows Defender these days).
