Some issues with input config

I'm running into several issues with changing my assigned keys in the input settings.

I'm a lefty so WASD really doesn't work for me so I have to reassign those keys

I'll typically try to assign the keys as follows due to the fact that "muh arrow keys for lefties" are horribly out of place to be usable in conjunction with any other keys at all (crouch, jump, reload, anything other than basic movement really)

Forwards - O
Backwards - L
*Left - K
*Right - ;

I'm having an issue where the game removes my right input and replaces it with my left, so when I press K I move right and I can't move left, every time I load into a level. So I have to go through and reset my keys every time I load in.

On top of this there are a few other keys I constantly have to reset which are as follows

Interact - J
Lean Right - ]

Both of these inputs get wiped every time I load into a level.

Also, I generally try to use "/" to crouch and for those of you that aren't already aware of this, for some reason "/" opens up text chat and that can't be unbound in the games settings. I've already rebound crouch to a mouse key however I still sometimes press "/" as a force of habit to try to crouch, which has put me in a bad situation more than once.

I'm sure the issue I'm having is niche as hell and not likely to be picked up on by many other players but I would still appreciate whatever support and be shot my way or any ideas the community may have to fix this.

I'm an ESDF player experiencing a similar issue. some of the binds stay even when rebound, so E is constantly making me lean right if I bind it to forward, as well as sseveral other similar problems

EDSF here too (the smart way) this a deal breaker if they won't stay bound.
