How to use nexus mods?

I'm p new to modding and don't quite get how to use nexus mods to create changes in the game, can someone tell me what to do lol

I know i need to unzip the file but I don't know where exactly I need to unzip it at/move the files to

Usually the instructions are in the description on Nexus mods. It varies from game to game, and sometimes from mod to mod depending on what the mod in question is for.

Certain also games have prerequisite mods you need for them to work. I haven't done a lot of mods with this game, but it looks like Loose File Loader is one of the big dependency mods? Reading the page for that one, it says you just drop it in the main installation directory, for instance.

1st thing to do is get Vortex. Vortex will do a lot of the work.

it really depends on mods and requirement. The best advice is to read the description of the mod. Often you just have to move folder where the .exe is. Be careful of folder names.
