disable ReBar

I have a 5090 and a 9800x3d. The fix for me was turning off Ray Tracing. This was the only fix. Hopefully devs release a patch or an nvidia driver fixes it.

Try enabling the high performance power profile in Windows, for many that fixed the problem

Hey do you have a 50 series and you are not experiencing these issues?

This doesnt fix it btw. Just downloaded new drivers and disable resizable bar.

my game kept lagging, but the crashing got really bad when i started the foundation dlc. Apparently there's a bug that causes crashes, and turning off e-cores helps. see if that works?

I have a 3060 ti and I haven't been able to get the dx12 version of the game to work since the update.

Even with the newest Nvidia driver the game will hang and eventually crash with Ray Tracing enabled. 5090 with a 9800 X3D. Something is fundamentally broken with the current state of the game and the 5000 series cards.
Try reverting to the previous version.

For me, it has exactly the same problems.
Probably something related to series 50. When you turn ray tracing in game, are you using more than "3" in the ray traced option?

I was running 8. I dropped it to 3 and there is still some hitching but it doesn't lock up or straight crash in combat like it typically did. I'm wondering if it pushes the problem down the road a bit or if that is actually sustainable.
Sounds like the issue is also related to X870E platforms.
Keeps crashing loading the game whenever i enable ray tracing, i tried lowering bounces to 3 but same crashes on a 9950x3d + 5090. Any RT on and it's crashing...

Same. Lowered it, worked well for a bit. Tried playing again and it still froze and crashed.
