Stuttering with March Update
Games performance went from good to really bad.
Playing on a 4090.
I got stutters every few seconds and the sound also cuts out during some stutters.

Anyone else?

Just checked again. Changed display from borderless to fullscreen. No other changes done. Stuttering is gone :/
Even going back to borderless or increasing the ray count does not replicate the issue.. Strange... right now it is working for me.

Your post got me to try again, switched from fullscreen to borderless, no other changes and it's working fine now. No stuttering and more importantly, no hard crashes...bizarre behaviour?!

Same but also getting frequent crashes too, 5070ti/9800x3d
Same, stuttering after update
Same on a 5080 FE/9800x3d. If I turn off ray tracing it seems to help but that's one of the main features of the game.

Same here: 4090 laptop 175W 16GB 256bit, i9-13980HX, 5600MHz 32GB RAM, NVidia drivers 566.07, Win11 24H2. After recent update it (micro)stutters a lot running around in the Executive center, especially noticeable in long corridors heading in the same direction with keys... Symptoms are similar to the well known traversal stuttering issues (random perf hoggings... like a too small queue... ) but are not location specific.
Was perfectly smooth before. Epic version.

try to disable ReBAR

Tried without ReBAR, no real improvement. Still random stutterings running around in the building

I just played through entire game (took 45 hours with all the grind for platinum trophy), 0 crashes, 0 stuttering. I disabled raytracing before I started playing, I went down from max settings to High and I capped framerate to 60 in Riva Tuner Statistic Server. I did this because I don't like when fans in PC are loud (capping framerate was making big difference with GPU going from 76 to 55 Celcius). My screen does not support HDR, so the update was not for me. R7 5800X + RTX3070, 32 GB RAM, NVMe 1TB.

Are you using Ultra ray tracing, or even maxing out the ray count?

Made it worse, stuttering as soon as I loaded in and hard crash 2mins in.

I'm using Ultra RT, ray count to 3, performance is good, but stutters shouldn't occur even if going higher with RT. It should decrease the frames, not cause stutters.
Disable control flow guard from windows anti-virus defender
In my case I get a hard lock, I'm playing with a wireless xbox controller and suddenly the screen goes black and the controller starts to blink, like it lost the signal and I can't even CTRL+ALT+DEL out of the game, I need to do a hard reset, it has been two times it happened now

This also happened before the last patch, I believe something in the NV drivers caused it, it's been happening for some months. Disabling ReBar might help.

Yep, same issues right here man. Started experiencing horrendous stuttering immediately after the update installed. It ran perfectly smooth before with max settings and ray tracing on. Playing on a RTX 4090/Ryzen 9 7900X3D. I've been troubleshooting on and off for almost 2 days now with no real improvement from any of the methods i've tried, including disabling ReBar, disabling CFG, reinstalled and wiped all leftover Control UE files, reverted/reinstalled GPU drivers, etc. I don't what the hell this update did, but it definitely broke something for quite a few players. This is the only game i own that runs this horribly. Never even got a chance to beat the game

Same, stutters and eventually hard freeze. This is on RTX 5090/13900KS. Too bad, nice game but it just keeps freezing.
