For example, I've got a Radeon 7700XT.
Well its unfortunate if you played the game before but I'm surprised you were able to play it at all with that integrated GPU. Control isn't exactly the type of game that can run on a card like that and is usually paired with other components that also don't benefit the game as well.
Im not sure what resolution and settings you played at but I wonder if the configuration you had is just now causing the system to crash before you can change any settings. I'm sure there are better ways outside of reinstalling the game but perhaps that could allow you to reconfigure it. However I wouldn't be surprised if it's just unable to run on the Intel gpu. We're you very far into the game? With the new settings, this game is able to bring even my 4090 to it's knees and I can't max out the game.
