Don't buy this game if you intend to use Ray Tracing. It's completely broken. The latest NVIDIA driver update did nothing to fix the problem and Remedy still haven't done anything on their end except "acknowledge" that there is a problem. This was over a month ago.

Literally the only reason I purchased this game (again, because I lost my epic account) was to enjoy it in its full light with all RTX effects on after I got my new graphics card. And GUESS Fing WHAT, it doesn't work! great.

It's not the games fault Nvidia can't get it together. This game was released in the birth if RTX, it's working fine with my 3080 and 4070ti super on the drivers I've had installed since before the paper launch of the 50's cards. Just because your overpriced 5080's and 5090's have garbage drivers doesn't mean the game is failing you.

I run the DX11 through a program named Special K and works fine. Definitely the game coding's fault.

It is hard to know for sure if its a game issue or driver issue or both but ray tracing is definitely broken in Control.

Just was playing the game and RT is working perfectly for me. No idea what you're on about.

Guys, try 576.02, works for me almost fine, with minimal ammount of crashes. Also, this driver version let you enable "smooth motion" frame generation using Nvidia App, and it is doing wonders for the performance.

I updated to the newest and started using Ray Tracing and it hasn't crushed yet, so up till now i'm gonna say they fixed it.

576.28 here, no the same problems still persist, so no they haven't fixed anything.

same here. 5070ti. Broken game. Now it can even crash without turning on ray tracing.

The problem has not been listed by NVIDIA, so it's a game bug requiring a patch.

We are still waiting.

Have you tried running the game on linux instead though proton to get game to work on 50 cards?

The game hard freezes my entire PC every single time the very first room loads. 5070 Ti and I'm not even using ray tracing. Jesus...
