Do I get the DLC if I buy the "Ultimate Edition"?
I already have the game in my library, but I originally picked up the standard edition.
It's now labelled as the "Ultimate Edition" in my library, but I don't have any of the DLC, and I can't buy it separately.
If I add the Ultimate Edition to my cart, it tells me I won't receive an extra copy of the Ultimate Edition; but will buying it unlock the DLC for me?

This is a good question,I’m also waiting for an answer.

If your steam library is telling you that you have the ultimate edition then that means you should already have it. Especially since it won't let you purchase it for yourself.

Why do you think you don't have the DLC?

Because I don't. The DLC page for the game in my library says I don't have any DLC fpr the game, and playing it, I don't have access to any of the DLC.

That is weird. Sounds like a possible bug. For that, contact steam support and see if they can help you out.

I just wanted to make sure cuz sometimes games have given out dlc with an update in the past but it is rare. I don't remember them doing that for this game but the fact that you can't even buy the dlc from the store is very odd.

An alternative would be to buy a code from a key site and then activate it. Fanatical has it for just over $7.

You should be able to buy the dlc separately, because you only have the standard, but I would assume if you buy the ultimate you'll get the dlc as well :Darling:

As previously noted, there is no option to buy the DLC on Steam. What I'm really after is someone else who has done the same and can confirm that buying the Ultimate Edition unlocks the DLC.
Without knowing this, I'm not going to buy it, as I suspect it would get complicated to refund as well if it doesn't unlock the DLC.
Yes, the ultimate edition includes the dlc. That's the point of it being the "ultimate edition."

But as pointed out, Steam already thinks I own the "Ultimate Edition", and says I won't get an extra copy if I buy it. As I said in the initial post.

if someone else can help with this too i would greatly appreciate it, i got the ultimate edition and when i go to the DLC page. It says the DLC does not exist.

If you have the Humble version, it's not actually the Ultimate one. You can get the whole game for $10, which is about what the DLC would cost separately.

I have ultimate and the 2 DLCs are listed in the DLC window.

Don't do this.

If you buy the Ultimate Edition, you should get the DLCs for the edition that you own now; but: the "true" Ultimate Edition is a newer build of the game with some improvements.

If you want to get the "true" Ultimate edition, *first* remove the game from you account - you can do this yourself via "Help -> Support" in the Steam client.
After that, buying the Ultimate Edition will get you the newer version and its DLC.

In this forum discussion there's some information on why this nonsense is even necessary; in short: the publisher messed up when creating a special "Standard Edition" for a Humble Choice bundle.
