Serious problem with "Threshold" mission.
Right - so let me start by saying I despise puzzles in my video games. Absolutely hate them to no end. The immersion I had while playing this got messed up really bad with that punchcard puzzle - which I after 20 or so minutes had to look up the solution for.

Then the "Threshold" mission got triggered.

I got to the oceanview motel - and got so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired of trying to figure out the puzzle in there that I exited the hotel - and jumped to my death, deliberately.

The problem now is that even with the Threshold mission active - it no longer appears in the map. Thus - I have no way of navigating to where I was. I know it's in the maintenance sector - but that's a big place....

Pretty damn disappointing when game devs didn't account for this kind of player behavior. Why would you assume people wouldn't want to ragequit over your puzzles? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqhUboKtwyo 170K people. Think about that for a moment. You can't appreciate that number of people, nor can I. Our brains aren't wired to think of such a number. But that's the amount of players who got fed up with that puzzle. When you have such a number of people looking up how to solve your puzzle - you have failed as a designer. I know of more than a handful of individuals who are VERY much on the "spectrum" - who also find no enjoyment whatsoever in puzzles like these - so....who are they made for?

You've already established this place/facility is weird, strange, otherworldly, etc. you have mindblowing art direction, sound, animation. Like - holy hell man. I was so *in it* until the game started throwing these puzzles at me. And again - I find no enjoyment in solving them.

Guess I have to spend the next half an hour trying to Google my view to where I was so I'm not running around in circles like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Okay this is a lot of words to say you got lost and couldn't solve a puzzle. It's okay, that's all irrelevant. I think the reason no one has responded is that we don't know what the issue is. So you are lost?
I can't really tell so I'll tell you how to get to multiple places.

for Black Rock Processing which is I think where u need to go, or at least the right direction:
Go to Maintenance with the elevator, take a left. There's the door to Black Rock Processing. If you can't go through then you need to go through the turbines section. If you're already past that, then go back to the oceanview via the lightswitch (I think any cord will work, but if not, go to the one after the Turbine section.)
Then you go in the oceanview and make the 2 rooms that open look the same, and you'll get the key for the black triangle door. I think after that the path to BRP will be open easily (a bridge appears).

I think you can also just load from the beginning of that mission from select and then you'll have all your crap still but be at the beginning of that quest.

I dunno hope this helps if not best wishes.
